Van Gogh

I find these 3D reimagninings of Van Gogh's paintings utterly enchanting.

They were made using tilt-shift photography, as explained herehere and here.

The words below were supplied by the man himself.

"Great things are done by a series of small things brought together."

"It is better to be high-spirited though one makes more mistakes, than to be narrow minded and all too prudent."

"If you hear a voice within say "you cannot paint", then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced."

"The more I think it over, the more I feel that there is nothing more artistic than to love people."

"For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream."

"What would life be if we had no courage to attempt anything?"
