do accountants look like this;
stockbrokers, like this; and
horticulturists, like this.
Personally, I'd like to look like this.
Catching up on some post-holiday blog reading, I learned that The Sartoralist spent December in Australia.
He walks the streets, with camera in hand, snapping pics of passers-by whose fashion sense he finds compelling.
His book is on my coffee table wish list.
For our holiday, CB forgot to pack any socks and could only find men's peds (yes, men's peds) at the beach-side shops.
Consequently, he went to dinner one night pairing lace ups with naked ankles.
But for a few, critical inches of denim, he would have looked like this....
The Sartoralist may love it, but here is where we part company.
And just to be safe, from now on I will take charge of the packing.
What are peds Kate?
ReplyDeleteHope you all had a great christmas and new year and santa brought W and D lots of lego!
Sarah, peds are like the tiny little stocking-ettes that you sometimes put on before trying on shoes in a shoe store - ie, they just cover the heel, toe and bottom of your foot. Christmas was great, but not nearly restful enough - and there was plenty of LEGO! I am sure he visited D & H with the same! Kate xo
